Personality:
Lilixia is an often-times quiet female cleric belonging to a sect known as the Moonlit Mages who travel primarily at night-time to areas that are avoided by most other clerics and mages due to being in 'dangerous' or 'corrupted' areas. Her typical demeanor can best be described as motherly, showing a great deal of patience with and a desire to protect those in her care - going out of her way to ensure that they are in high-spirits and reassured of the Divines love for them. She believes firmly in her religion and, despite internal struggles, considers herself to be pure and untainted by the evils of the lands around her.

However, as a result of her beliefs, she also firmly believes in being deserving of anything which she desires due to a 'Divine Right' and the fact that she is 'purer' than others she encounters on a daily basis. Due to this, she has begun to exhibit signs of possessiveness towards individuals she desires and will often convince herself and others that she, as a holy mage, should be entitled to anyone or anything she wants.

She is also known to convert slaves under her care into the Temple's religion while they are in a weakened state and furthermore convince them that they deserve any punishment that she or others deem necessary and has a record of performing such punishments by her own hands - whatever they may be.

Due to these darker traits, Lilixia had begun hearing the whispers of Darkness that had been present in her since her birth for the first time. She did not understand at first that these voices were indeed The Darkness and instead believed herself to be going insane, but slowly she began to understand that these voices were not her own and yet somehow feels as if they belong to her - as if the voices she hears know about her darker self and is attempting to enable or perhaps even embolden these ideas.

Recently, she has begun to shift between her kind and motherly personality and her darker more primal self more and more - essentially becoming two individuals with one mind and one body, yet still clinging to her faith and hoping that she can atone for her sins in some way or form in order to free herself from the reach of the voices.


History:
Born (unknowingly to herself) to a Demon father and a Human mother, Lilixia had been given to the clergy of Aurum to watch over since her birth and had been raised by them up until the current day. She had been taught the ways of the church and of the Divines, studying the bible and learning to read from it as well as memorizing verses each and every day in order to earn the favor of her surrogate family.

Being brought into the religion at such a young age, Lilixia was utterly devoted to it and had not a single stray bad thought about the church. She was a model student and furthermore a talented Healing Mage since her early years, which further strengthened her bond with those in the church who viewed Healing Magic as a Divine Gift that soon earned her robes and a true name of her own in "Lilixia Justinia" that later became simply "Mother Justinia" once she served for some time as a holy cleric.

However, despite her love for the religion and for those who practiced it, she found herself having intrusive dark thoughts and desires that manifested into a second personality of sorts separate from her normal devoted and patient demeanor and became one of desire and aggressiveness. She justified this second part of herself simply as being things she deserved as a holy mage and as such a pure soul - she further justified to herself that she was helping others by giving out extensive punishments both of violent and not-so-violent means and that she was doing good by the Divines, and that was what mattered most.
